Donations of non-perishable (i.e. tins and packets) and long life products (i.e. milk and juice) can be dropped in the collection boxes at any of the drop off points listed further down this page, as we collect from these regularly.
A huge thank you to everyone that has placed food in our donation boxes, it has been a big help. Thank you for your continued support & generosity – together we can make a real difference.
BanktheFood is on a mission to ensure food banks always have exactly what they need and not just baked beans. To aid with this, they have their own app, which is very simple to use. You can download the app and follow the instructions to get started. Through the app, you can then follow Swindon Food Collective.
Once you have followed Swindon Food Collective, the app will send you a helpful ‘ping’ with a reminder of our needs when you are shopping in your local supermarket. You can then choose exactly what you would like to donate and leave your donation in our collection box at the end of your shopping trip. We will then be alerted via the app of your (anonymous) donation making it easier for us to track and locate items we really need.
