A massive appreciation to both Barbara Dunne and New Port Street's Store Manager Ceb Gee for helping raise additional awareness and donations for Swindon Food Collective. Cher Smith MBE from Swindon Food Collective who was present throughout the event said "we are always very grateful for donations and they make a real difference to people across Swindon". Matt Jones, CEO, said: "I would like to thank the generous customers of Co-Op New Port Street for their kind and thoughtful support in helping address food poverty in Swindon. This makes a real difference and all donations go immediately to local people in Swindon".

Did you know?

Each time you purchase a Co-Op Food Bank Bag from your local Swindon Co-Op, a proportion of the cost comes to Swindon Food Collective as a donation to help local people. Buy yours today.  Visit Co-Op Old Town - Google Maps

Demand for our services have gone up in the last few years and donations at supermarkets have fallen. One-off initiatives like this can help to plug the gap a little bit and so if there are any other businesses or organisations in Swindon that would like to help in this way, we’d love to hear from you.
